Discussing ‘nature’, ‘solutions’ and ‘repair’ at POLLEN26
REPAiR Project members will discuss our research in a session at POLLEN26, the international conference of the Political Ecology Network.
The REPAiR Project is convening a panel on ‘nature based’ interventions in Southern Africa’s rangelands on 29 June 2026 at the POLLEN Conference in Barcelona. For those attending the conference, the panel takes place at 15.30-17.30, and full details are on the programme.
Focusing on rangeland and grassland NbS interventions in Southern Africa, the panel brings together research and stories from frictional spaces and ecologies of ‘nature-based’ restoration and repair.
Convened by Amber Huff and Adrian Nel, our panel features a variety of speakers and contributors from across the REPAiR Project and from other research initiatives as well. Speakers and paper co-authors include Linda Pappagallo, Francis Masse, Lisa Matthews, Mathilde Hagens, Olivia Crowe, Brock Bersaglio, Charis Enns, Ina Möller, Robyn Nicolay, Kwanele Siyengo, Brittany Bunce, Dzingwe Tafadzwa, Simphiwe Tsawu and Frank Matose.
